The first time I picked up this crystal, I felt a pressure on my throat, indicating that that was where it could help me. So I took the hint and bought it. The card with the crystals read opalite, and the essence she gave me is wonderful, leaving no doubt about the fact that she has lots to offer us, even though the road was a bit bumpy.
When she was in the water I looked in one of my books, and found that opalite is an opaque stone, while the one I had was milky translucent, with iridescent colors. So before I could actually do something with the essence, I needed to find out just who she was. I let it rest for a while and started on the description of the essence. It was weeks before I found her, while looking for something else I stumbled on a little opalite angel that looked the same as my crystal. As it turned out, opalite is also used to describe opal quartz, a synthetic opal. That gave me a bit of a shock, because synthetic brings up associations with the word fake. But that didn%t explain the fact that the crystal had such a lovely energy. A fake would just feel empty. So after some more research I found that although it is made in a laboratory, it is made from natural material. I also learned that a real fake stone is called an imitation.
The first word was %water%, flowing. She lets everything (fears, repressed emotions and feelings) flow until it has found a place. So go with it, she will take you up to great heights, and if you are aware of that, and work with her, she will take you beyond the rainbow.
She may have a beneficial effect on your voice, because you can express yourself more freely once that lump has gone from your throat.
When you hold the bottle and close your eyes, you may see a bright warm light, that made me think of angels. This was confirmed later, it is an embrace by wings, pretty big ones at that.
First you are grounded, and then you are lifted up.This essence activates the higher chakras and has a very high vibration. Sky high would also have been a good name for it, your head in the clouds and firmly grounded at the same time. The best of both worlds.
I was also given the indication that this essence will help further contacts with devas and nature spirits.
